My fur baby hates me touching her paws to clean/groom so it's a bit of a struggle to apply. If you could apply and then try to cover with protection/socks? , etc so it could absorb, that would be preferable. This does help but it needs time to do its job.

It's a nice product. My dogs pads were getting pretty rough. I massage it on his pads a couple times a week and he has nice soft pads now.
